Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Canada. The role involves payroll administration, processing of employee transactions, ROEs, and compliance with federal and provincial regulations.

Bilingualism in French and English is required, and familiarity with UKG and Excel is essential. We offer competitive compensation with potential benefits, RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus programs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of payroll experience in a computerized environment.
• Completion of Level 1 Payroll Compliance Practitioner or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of EI, ROE and CRA regulations; payroll legislation experience.
• Proficient with UKG and HRIS; advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration and processing of employee transactions.
• Prepare ROEs and manage retroactive pay adjustments and vacation payouts.
• Ensure data accuracy in payroll systems and respond to inquiries.
• Support field operations and various departments with payroll needs.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure regulatory compliance.
