Job summary

The Mason Group - Strategic Search Partners is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for a multi-provincial environment. You will lead a payroll team, ensuring accurate, timely processing and compliance with CRA, WSIB and provincial regulations.

Responsibilities include directing UKG configurations, ERP-related payroll projects, and year-end T4 activities while collaborating with HR and Finance to optimize processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Progressive management experience in payroll and benefits (senior or payroll manager).
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and internal controls.
• Experience with outsourced and in-house payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of payroll professionals and ensure high standards.
• Guarantee weekly and bi-weekly multi-province payroll.
• Lead UKG configurations and ERP/payroll projects.
• Improve payroll setup and processes.
• Ensure compliance with CRA, WSIB and provincial authorities.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and regional managers.
• Oversee year-end T4 reporting and payroll deductions.
