Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) in Toronto is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the Finance department. The role involves preparing and reviewing payrolls using UKG Kronos, balancing inputs, and processing multi-jurisdiction payrolls for Canada, the UK, and the U.S.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in payroll or related field, at least three years’ payroll experience (salary administration, confidentiality), and PCP certification in progress.

Qualifications

• Diploma in payroll, accounting, or business-related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years payroll experience; law firm experience is an asset.
• Certified by National Payroll Institute as PCP or pursuing certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparation and review of firm payrolls using UKG Kronos.
• Verify payroll integrity and reconcile inputs against reports.
• Run imports, balance payroll data, and process Canada/UK/US payrolls.
• Input payroll data into UKG and handle direct deposits and exceptions.
• Prepare records for client charges and monthly journal entries.
• Respond to employee inquiries and assist with annual compensation and pension contributions.
