Job summary

Insight Global in Montreal is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own payroll processing for multiple client accounts, answer payroll and tax questions, troubleshoot issues, and support year-end activities as you grow your PCP/NPI certification.

This permanent role requires 1–2+ years of payroll experience, bilingual English/French, and strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work with a large team and leverage MS Office to manage payroll tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years payroll processing experience.
• Client service experience and comfortable handling client inquiries by phone.
• Strong time management, organization & prioritization.
• Strong communication, analytical & problem-solving skills.
• MS Office, including Word/Excel; bilingual English/French; PCP/NPI certification in progress.

Responsibilities

• Own and process payroll for multiple client accounts.
• Schedule, run, audit and balance payrolls.
• Handle year-end balancing, filing, reporting and remittances.
• Answer client questions around payroll, tax filing and processes.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues with internal support teams.
• Provide clients with payroll best practices and solutions; maintain payroll knowledge and ongoing training.
