Francophone Affairs Secretariat is seeking to fill the Bilingual Manager, Translation Services position.
Duties: Reporting to the Executive Director of the Francophone Affairs Secretariat, the incumbent is responsible for the financial and human resources required for the highly specialized operations of Translation Services, a central unit mandated to provide translation, interpretation and terminology management services to all government departments, the Legislative Assembly, the Courts, Crown organizations, Special Operating Agencies and other arm’s-length entities. The incumbent is accountable for the work of professional interpreters, terminologists, translators, revisers and administrative staff in meeting the translation, interpretation and terminology management requirements of the entire Manitoba government.
