A leading technology consulting firm in Toronto is hiring a skilled Business Analyst to support cloud data integration and governance for international banking. The position requires 5-8 years of relevant experience, proficiency in data analysis tools, and Spanish language abilities. Ideal candidates will contribute to designing a unified cloud data platform and collaborate with international stakeholders. This is a full-time role with a standard work schedule and potential for extension.

International Banking – Data Migration and Transformation to Cloud
To develop and maintain a cloud platform that integrates data from various sources, standardizes processes, and facilitates data publication for consumers and producers, ensuring quality, security, and accessibility.
The primary objective of this project is to design and implement a unified cloud data platform for IB across different countries.
Detail-oriented and business-driven Business Analyst with a strong background in data discovery, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical reporting. Proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by translating complex requirements into actionable insights. Skilled in identifying data-driven opportunities, enhancing business processes, and enabling informed decision-making across organizational levels. Experienced in working with SMEs, data engineers, and stakeholders across diverse domains, with a solid foundation in data analytics, process optimization, and modern reporting tools. Adept at managing end-to-end analysis workflows in Agile and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and delivery impact.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to cloud technologies, international stakeholders, and to big-data enterprise tools.
An ideal candidate for this role is bilingual in Spanish, which is essential for effectively engaging with international stakeholders and ensuring clear communication across regions. The person should understand data and have the ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights, identifying and interpreting KPIs and transforming metrics into actionable information that is easy to document and visualize through dashboards. The best candidate is someone who bases their opinions and decisions on data, not assumptions, and is comfortable working with complex datasets, drawing evidence-based conclusions, and presenting findings clearly. Experience with BigQuery and Python is helpful.
