Job summary

Intact is seeking a Customer Service - Claims Representative in Canada to join a growing team. You will respond to inquiries and new claims, document cases, and resolve claims with empathy while following policies and procedures.

We value bilingual FR/EN capabilities, experience in customer service, and the ability to work in Canada. This role offers a hybrid work model with benefits and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and claims is preferred.
• Bilingual French and English required.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Be an expert on our policies, products, services, and initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries and new claims calls in an incoming queue, applying knowledge and problem‑solving skills to take quick decisions to move requests forward.
• Document files clearly and accurately to reflect conversations and actions taken on claims.
• Willingness to have difficult conversations with empathy and clarity about policies, coverages, or operational challenges.
• Ensure call center metrics are met while handling a high volume of incoming calls.
• Provide high‑quality customer service, maintain short wait times, and document files precisely.
• Handle multiple tasks by aligning with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Our environment evolves quickly and you may be asked to perform other duties occasionally.
