Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a bilingual Claims Analyst to join our Insurance Services team in Canada. You will analyze contracts, evaluate claim eligibility, and process payments with accuracy and compliance.

This role requires English and French fluency, strong communication skills, and experience with Living Benefits claims. You will work with colleagues to provide timely updates and well-documented, auditable records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of claims handling experience, preferably Living Benefit claims.
• Knowledge of basic computer systems such as word processing, emails, spreadsheets.
• Aptitude for learning new computer systems.
• Experience with administrative procedures, legislative requirements, and medical principles related to Living Benefits claims
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of disability and life insurance preferable.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes insurance contracts to ensure provisions are applied correctly.
• Bilingual in English and French languages
• Requests and reviews all necessary information to assess each claim.
• Communicates with the insured routinely to provide statuses and updates as needed.
• Accurately inputs pertinent information into the claim system and processes in a timely and efficient manner.
• Claim handling should be thorough, understandable and properly documented.
• Insurance regulations must be adhered to as required and internal service level standards met.
