Job summary

RBC in Canada is seeking a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto to provide insurance guidance and options to clients over inbound calls, helping protect what matters most. You will assess client needs, explain policy details, and support a seamless, compliant experience.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional service, achieving collaboration with partners, and contributing to sales goals while maintaining regulatory awareness and accuracy in recommendations.

Qualifications

• Quebec Damage Insurance certificate from l’Autorité des marchés financiers or the ability to obtain it (training provided).
• Bilingual (English and French) required to serve English- and French-speaking clients.
• Exceptional customer service skills with ability to build relationships.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within operation hours (Mon-Fri 8:00am–8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Exhibit a consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact, building relationships.
• Complete personalized needs assessments using tools and calculators to demonstrate value.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
