Job summary

RBC Insurance is seeking a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto to serve clients by providing clear, upfront insurance advice and options over the phone. You’ll help protect what matters most, contributing to sales goals with personalized solutions.

You will perform needs assessments, understand regulatory requirements, and collaborate with RBC partners to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Possession of the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate or the ability to obtain it, plus the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required.
• Exceptional customer service skills with ability to build strong relationships.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within hours of operation (8:00am–8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Maintain a consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at first point of contact.
• Complete personalized needs assessments and reviews using tools and calculators to demonstrate value.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as One RBC team.
