Job summary

RBC Insurance in Montréal is seeking a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto. You will provide empathetic insurance advice to clients, conduct needs assessments, and present solutions to protect what matters.

You’ll support regulatory compliance while delivering a superior client experience and collaborate with RBC partners to meet sales goals. The role requires obtaining the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate and license, and you will operate within the Home & Auto Advice Centre

Qualifications

• Quebec Damage Insurance certificate delivered by l’Autorité des marchés financiers or the willingness and ability to obtain it and the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces (training offered by RBC).
• Bilingualism (English and French) required for English and French speaking clients.
• Exceptional customer service skills with ability to build strong relationships.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within the Home & Auto Advice Centre hours (Mon–Fri 8:00am–8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across devices (phones, tablets, laptops).

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls
• Resolve client concerns at first point of contact and build relationships through meaningful conversations
• Complete personalized needs assessments and reviews using tools and calculators to support recommendations
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home & auto policies
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team
