Nature And Scope
The Eastern Sales Manager (ESM) will report to the Canadian VP of Sales and collaborate with the Western Sales Manager and Inside Sales Manager to implement and execute sales initiatives that achieve our company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales leadership: Act as a brand ambassador and positive leader within the organization and industry.
- Drive revenue growth: Own the regional sales target and be responsible for executing initiatives to expand category sales and market share growth with new and current customers.
- Account management: Build and nurture relationships with key distributor accounts and develop strategic partners for long-term growth.
- Advocate for our French-Canadian customers to ensure a simple and trusted customer experience for all distributors in both official languages.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to uncover challenges and provide effective solutions supporting our objectives and customers.
- Conduct ongoing training and performance management to equip Sales Agents with necessary tools and feedback.
- Lead monthly territory reviews, deliver data-driven insights, identify growth opportunities, and provide targeted coaching.
- Collaborate with the Sales Management team and internal teams to achieve outlined goals.
- Develop and communicate knowledge of Stormtech’s products, systems, and services; demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Specific Accountabilities
- Execute the Fiscal Action Plan and manage the performance of Eastern Sales Agents.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager for effective team interaction.
- Partner with the Director of Strategic Accounts to implement sales initiatives.
- Build and sustain relationships with Sales Agents and Accounts.
- Ensure accurate bilingual translations of marketing materials and resources.
- Prepare and coordinate meeting materials and support sales and trade show activities.
- Maintain and update customer profiles.
- Manage Sales Agent budgets.
- Align sales objectives with business goals through collaboration with marketing, finance, and operations.
- Provide insights on industry trends, competitor strategies, and new products.
- Participate in customer presentations and events.
- Contribute feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Keep accounts informed about pricing, policies, and sales tools.
- Generate awareness of clearance items.
- Resolve escalated issues promptly following company policies.
Language Skills
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Use bilingual skills for customer inquiries, presentations, and support.
- Build stronger relationships with culturally and linguistically relevant assistance.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years in a sales management role leading successful teams.
Skills Required

Additional Requirements
- Travel within territory for visits, trade shows, and meetings.
- Assist with loading/unloading crates, display setup, and merchandising at trade shows.
