Job Description

Elavon is seeking a digital sales superstar to join our rapidly expanding sales team! As an Elavon Digital Sales Representative, you will advocate for small businesses across Canada, helping them select the best payment solutions from our suite of offerings. You will respond to inbound digital web and phone inquiries generated by our marketing efforts, referral partners, and relationship teams. This role offers coaching, support, and opportunities for growth and development. Success in this role requires self-motivation and goal orientation.

Note: The candidate must reside in Canada and be open to remote work across the country.

This is a salaried position with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Eastern Time), with occasional shifts from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm (Eastern Time).

Job Functions
  1. Drive sales and revenue growth through digital channels.
  2. Respond promptly to inbound sales calls and web leads from marketing channels such as SEO and SEM.
  3. Utilize Salesforce CRM and other tools to manage your sales pipeline and interactions.
  4. Employ effective discovery techniques to understand prospects’ businesses and recommend suitable solutions.
  5. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Elavon products, services, marketing activities, and competitors’ offerings.
  6. Follow up diligently with prospects to identify opportunities and address their payment and business challenges.
  7. Participate in regular reporting, coaching, and pipeline review sessions with managers.
  8. Collaborate with marketing, billing, customer care, operations, and other teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the payments industry or SaaS sales is an asset.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales quotas, preferably in payments, SaaS, or technology sectors.
  • High energy, confidence, and comfort in engaging customers via digital tools and over the phone.
  • Coachability and a willingness to seek feedback for improvement.
  • Adaptability to change and quick learning of new processes and products.
  • Ability to employ a consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong desire to contribute to an innovative company's growth.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Successful negotiation and closing skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • In addition to base salary, eligible for monthly sales incentives.
  • Proficiency in French, both written and verbal.
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of inside sales experience with a proven record of successful negotiations and closures.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.

The listed salary range includes incentives and commissions, targeting overall compensation.
