Job summary

Medavie in Canada is seeking a Bilingual Case Management Coordinator to support disability claims setup and ongoing maintenance. This role requires gathering information to assess applications and manage files, with emphasis on communication with stakeholders, attention to detail, and multi-tasking across systems.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• At least six months of administrative experience, preferably in health care.
• Bilingual English and French is mandatory for this position.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service focus.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone.
• Ability to perform financial calculations using provided tools.
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Set up new claim applications and input data following processes and client standards.
• Respond to inquiries related to Life and Disability claims via calls, emails, and faxes.
• Complete steps for new claims, closures, and CPP/QPP applications; maintain documentation.
• Input data in claims management and payment systems and manage related financial responsibilities.
• Prepare follow-up letters and gather information from internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with medical clinics for required information.
