Job summary

Manulife CAF LTD Team is seeking a professional leader to oversee a Disability Management group. The Associate Manager will coach and supervise staff, guide complex claims adjudication, and drive service outcomes to support veterans transitioning to civilian life.

The role requires strong leadership, collaborative problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/French communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Group Disability adjudication and case management.
• Excellent verbal and written English and French communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow management, conduct performance management, and hire staff.
• Ensure effective disability management practices are used appropriately.
• Provide technical support and guidance on complex claims issues.
• Contribute to a high level of quality and continuous improvement by conducting quality reviews identifying strengths and opportunities.
• Provide optimum levels of leadership, encouragement, mentoring and technical support to case managers to help clients and the operation as a whole achieve positive outcomes/solutions.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaborative problem resolution.
• Drive business and service outcomes.
