Job summary

Manulife is seeking a bilingual Disability Case Analyst/Case Manager to support plan members across Canada from a remote setting. The role blends clinical insight, analytical thinking and human connection to guide illness, injury and recovery, with a focus on return-to-work strategies and meaningful outcomes.

You’ll assess medical, functional and psychosocial factors, communicate with plan sponsors and providers, and manage a dedicated caseload within SLAs.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in a healthcare program or equivalent work experience is an asset.
• Fully bilingual (French/English) to support clients across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle a dedicated caseload in compliance with SLAs and turnaround times.
• Respond to emails and telephone calls promptly.
• Assess claims based on medical, functional and vocational barriers.
• Collaborate with plan sponsors, providers and internal partners to drive return-to-work outcomes.
• Write letters communicating pertinent benefit information based on analytical reasoning.
• Demonstrate resiliency and empathy when communicating difficult decisions.
