Manulife’s Canadian Disability and Group Life team seeks a Functional Rehabilitation Specialist to design and monitor return-to-work rehabilitation plans. You will collaborate with plan sponsors, members, and providers to drive cases to successful resolutions.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with possible remote arrangements. Travel may be needed, and a healthcare-related degree plus bilingual English/French is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; in Québec, proficiency in both languages may be required.
• Post-secondary diploma in a healthcare program; preference for health sciences background and rehab experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation industry standards, disability insurance, and medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to make meaningful decisions efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Comfort with inbound/outbound calls and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license for potential travel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, monitor, and implement goal-oriented return-to-work rehabilitation strategies for plan members.
• Build relationships with plan sponsors, members, treatment providers, and internal partners to drive cases to return-to-work.
• Manage vendor and budget to ensure effective treatments for plan members.
• Handle daily administrative tasks including timely email and phone communications.
• Demonstrate resiliency, emotional intelligence, and compassion when engaging with plan members.
