Altis Technology in Ottawa seeks a bilingual Communications Advisor for a 6-month contract in the arts and culture sector. The role focuses on shaping messages, advising stakeholders and delivering compelling content in English and French.

You will manage media inquiries, coordinate campaigns and collaborate across teams to support diverse audiences. The position offers hybrid work with flexibility and the chance to contribute to meaningful cultural initiatives.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, media relations or content strategy.
• Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations or equivalent education and experience.
• Advanced English and French proficiency, with excellent writing, reading and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and digital communications, media relations, issues management and social media strategy.
• Experience developing content strategies, advising stakeholders and influencing communications decisions.
• Excellent judgment, resourcefulness and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Experience in journalism, agency, public-sector or arts and culture environments is an asset.
