Overview

The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric positive approach to engaging external resources, while balancing the commercial needs of the business with mitigating risk to the firm. This is achieved by:

  • Utilizing internal contingent workforce expert practitioners who stay up-to-date on market intelligence.
  • Acting as trusted advisors to educate, challenge the status quo, and advise the business on creative solutions.
  • Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administration, anticipating needs, and collaborating with Hiring Managers.
Location

Anywhere in Canada; virtual work opportunity (1-2 days in office per month may be required).

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the CLO, the Contract Manager will handle processes and challenges related to external resources across Canada, managing over 1000 cases per year. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising and supporting Hiring Managers in engaging external resources.
  • Handling complex cases, escalations, and contract revisions.
  • Managing risks related to classification, compliance, and negotiations.
  • Partnering with legal, risk, procurement, and other experts.
Responsibilities
  • Promote the CLO’s brand through a customer-centric approach.
  • Manage cases in the vendor management system (Flextrack).
  • Train stakeholders on system use.
  • Conduct due diligence and advise on actions.
  • Maintain communication and documentation.
  • Manage complex and high-risk cases, including negotiations and clause drafting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide reporting, and lead education sessions.
What You Bring To The Role
  • College or University degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ experience with contract labour or contingent workforce management.
  • Experience drafting agreements and liaising with multiple parties.
  • Knowledge of immigration matters related to resourcing.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Legal training or experience and familiarity with ServiceNow and Flextrack are assets.
Additional Information

This position requires fluency in English. Salary range in BC: $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses. KPMG values diversity and inclusion and offers accommodations during recruitment.
