Overview

The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric positive approach to engaging external resources, balancing the commercial needs of the business with mitigating risk to the firm. This is achieved by:

  • Utilizing internal contingent workforce expert practitioners, who stay current on market intelligence.
  • Acting as trusted advisors, educating and challenging the status quo, and advising the business on creative solutions.
  • Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administrative efforts, anticipating needs, and collaborating closely with Hiring Managers.

Location: Anywhere in Canada (virtual opportunity, with 1-2 days in-office per month).

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the CLO, the Contract Manager will handle processes and challenges related to external resources across Canada, processing over 1000 external resources annually. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising and supporting Hiring Managers in engaging external resources.
  • Managing complex cases and escalations independently.
  • Handling contract revisions, risk assessments, and negotiations involving various legal and compliance considerations.
  • Partnering with subject-matter experts internally and externally.

Key responsibilities include case management, complex case resolution, process improvement, and stakeholder communication. The role involves managing challenging relationships, conducting risk assessments, and supporting change management initiatives.

What You Bring

  • College or University degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ experience with contract labor or contingent workforce management.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating third-party agreements.
  • Knowledge of immigration matters related to resourcing.
  • Bilingual in English and French with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Legal training or experience, and familiarity with ServiceNow and Flextrack, are assets.

Compensation: The salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive rewards program.
