Overview

The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric positive approach to engaging external resources. This mandate is achieved by:

• Utilizing internal contingent workforce expert practitioners, who continuously expand their skills and remain up-to-date on market intelligence.
• Acting as trusted advisors, to educate, challenge the status quo, and advise the business on creative approaches to find the right solutions.
• Delivering a customer-centric approach to the business and external resources by minimizing administration efforts, anticipating their needs, projecting a ‘how can I help you’ attitude, and actively collaborating with Hiring Managers to deepen relationships.

Location: Anywhere in Canada will be considered, virtual work opportunity (1-2 days in office per month may be required for company meetings)

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the Contract Labour Office (CLO), the Contract Manager will execute processes and solve challenges related to external resources during various stages for all functions and locations across Canada. The Contract Manager will:

• Apply technical expertise to advise, guide, and support Hiring Managers in the engagement of external resources.
• Work independently on complex cases, escalations, and requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Handle complex contract revisions, risk assessments, change management, and manage difficult relationships.
• Partner with internal subject-matter experts on matters such as classification, independence conflicts, immigration, taxation, data security, and more.
• Manage high-risk cases related to legislative and regulatory compliance, policies, and guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Managing cases within KPMG’s vendor management system (Flextrack).
• Training internal clients on system use.
• Conducting due diligence and assessing information related to external resources.
• Educating stakeholders and maintaining communication.
• Documenting information for reporting and audits.

For complex cases, responsibilities include liaising with Subject Matter Experts, mediating contract negotiations, drafting clauses, and managing risks associated with resource classification and compliance.

Additional duties involve continuous improvement initiatives, responding to inquiries, reporting, managing escalations, leading education sessions, and mentoring team members.

What You Bring To The Role

• College or University degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years’ experience managing contract labour or contingent workforce cases.
• Experience drafting third-party agreements and liaising with multiple parties.
• Exposure to immigration matters related to resourcing.
• Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle high-volume, complex cases.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ServiceNow and Flextrack is an asset.

This role requires fluency in English. Support and collaboration with English-speaking colleagues are essential.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range: $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses. Salary is based on location, skills, and qualifications.
