Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service or sales, strong communication, and English fluency. Training pay CAD 4,000–4,500 per month plus commission; average earnings around CAD 100,000 per year.

Qualifications

Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond office, is recruiting for a Sales Representative for our client company based out of Delta, BC. Our client is one of the well-established leaders in their specialty of the building materials industry. If you have limited sales experience but have some customer service experience, are a driven individual with good communication skills, you will be very lucky to learn a new field and be trained! If you have some experience in industrial products, we also want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs
• Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
• Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to local or head office
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
• Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
• Tracking within computer system or CRM/ make daily or weekly reports

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working in a customer service, inside sales, outside sales or business development role
• Previous role in a leadership or ability to organize-coordinate/ prioritize is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills
• May eventually need to travel in order to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin is a strong asset to be able to communicate with head office
• Strong leadership skills
• Fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong drive/ keen to learn
• Ability to cultivate and maintain a relationship with prospects and clients

Monday to Friday, office hours with some flexibility to work at office and from home. Occasional before or after hours if necessary to connect with clients according to clients hours.

Initial training pay is $4000-4500/ month plus commission. Benefits after probation. For their average sales representative, their income is $100,000/ year.
