Job summary

ParaMed in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking an Assignment Coordinator. This part-time role focuses on coordinating care requests, scheduling staff, and providing exceptional service in English and French.

The successful candidate will manage data in our scheduling system and respond to communications from funders, staff, patients, and families. Two-way communication skills, empathy, and a customer-first attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• One year administrative or office experience is an asset.
• Scheduling experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills and data entry abilities.
• Superior customer service skills and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate staff to patients based on times, availability and skills.
• Build and maintain care schedules for patients.
• Enter and update employee and patient data in the computerized system.
• Respond professionally to calls and electronic communications from funders, staff, patients and families.
• Document and report all staff and patient interactions.
