About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. You will liaise between advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the timely delivery of client presentations for new business and renewals in your assigned group.

What You’ll do
  1. Serve as the primary contact for matters related to your assigned client group and advisor.
  2. Enter financial data for renewals and marketing, including experience info, rate history, and demographic data.
  3. Deliver client presentations for new business and renewals, adhering to specific timelines:
  • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date.
  • New Business – 10 to 15 business days, depending on group size.
  • Maintain records in our internal system (SharePoint).
  • Analyze carrier proposals for new prospects, including rates and plan design.
  • What You Bring
    • At least 1+ years of experience in the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting.
    • Knowledge of group benefit plans and design.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and calculations.
    • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional benefits designation (e.g., GBA, CEBS) is an asset.
