About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Your responsibilities include liaising between advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the successful delivery of client presentations for new business and renewals within your assigned group.

What You’ll do
  • Serve as the main contact for matters related to your assigned client group and advisor.
  • Enter financial data for renewals and marketing, including experience info, rate history, and demographic data.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client presentations for both new business and renewal processes:
    • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date
    • New Business – 10 business days / 15 business days for large groups
  • Maintain records within our internal filing system (SharePoint).
  • Analyze carrier proposals for new prospects, focusing on rates, plan design, TLR, etc.
What You Bring
  • Typically, 1+ years of experience in the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting.
  • Some knowledge of group benefit plans and plan design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and calculations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional benefits designations (e.g., GBA, CEBS) are an asset.
