About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you will be an integral part of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities include liaising between advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new business and renewal client presentations in your assigned group.

What You’ll do
  1. Operate as the lead point of contact for matters specific to your assigned client group and advisor.
  2. Perform financial data entry for renewals and marketing (e.g., experience info, rate history, demographic data).
  3. Ensure the timely delivery of client presentations (new business/renewal) for potential and existing clients:
  • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date.
  • New Business – 10 or 15 business days depending on group size.
  • Maintain full workload on our internal filing system (SharePoint).
  • Analyze proposals from carriers for new prospects (rates, plan design, TLR, etc.).
  • What You Bring
    • Typically, 1+ years of experience within the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting.
    • Some knowledge of group benefit plans, plan design, etc.
    • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and calculations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • High accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse individuals.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional benefits designation (e.g., GBA, CEBS) is an asset.
