About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you will be an integral part of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities include liaising between advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new business and renewal client presentations within your assigned group.

What You’ll Do
  1. Operate as the lead contact for matters related to your assigned client group and advisor.
  2. Enter financial data for renewals and marketing, including experience info, rate history, and demographic data.
  3. Ensure the timely delivery of client presentations for new business and renewal opportunities:
  • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date
  • New Business – 10 to 15 business days prior, depending on group size
  • Maintain the internal filing system (SharePoint).
  • Analyze carrier proposals for new prospects, including rates and plan design.
  • What You Bring
    • Typically, 1+ years of experience in the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting.
    • Knowledge of group benefit plans and plan design.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and calculations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • High accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
    • Professional benefits designation (e.g., GBA, CEBS) is an asset.
