About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Your responsibilities include liaising between advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the successful delivery of client presentations for new business and renewals within your assigned group.

What You’ll do
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned client group and advisor.
  • Enter financial data for renewals and marketing, such as experience info, rate history, and demographic data.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client presentations for new business and renewals:
    • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date
    • New Business – 10 to 15 business days depending on group size
  • Maintain records in our internal filing system (SharePoint).
  • Analyze carrier proposals for new prospects, including rates and plan design.
What You Bring
  • Typically, 1+ years of experience in the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting.
  • Knowledge of group benefit plans and design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and calculations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional benefits designation (e.g., GBA, CEBS) is an asset.
