Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Mississauga is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to process transactions and advise customers on banking solutions. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and referrals with a focus on accuracy and customer experience.

You will work in a fast-paced branch environment, using MS Office tools and maintaining strong communication with customers and team members to achieve daily objectives and contribute to excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet.
• Go-getter with initiative, accuracy and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments following procedures and ethics codes.
• Assess customer needs and recommend banking solutions tailored to those needs.
• Respond to and resolve customer concerns using standard procedures; escalate non-standard items as needed.
• Achieve goals by promoting banking solutions and completing processes timely and accurately.
• Engage with customers to explain banking processes clearly and accurately.
• Contribute to a positive, diverse work environment by promoting teamwork and personal development.
• Assist the team by staying dedicated and keeping colleagues informed on routine activities.
• Deliver quality customer experiences and identify opportunities to improve operations.
