Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op is hiring a Bakery Clerk to join our team in Alberta. This casual role offers less than 24 hours per week with weekday and weekend shifts across mornings, afternoons and evenings. You will help with customer service, bakery product preparation, and general shop duties under the supervision of bakers.

Applicants must be over 14 years old (permit required for under 15). Training is available, and opportunities exist within a friendly co-op environment focused on integrity and

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bakery experience is an asset; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Package and label bakery products for sale.
• Slice bread and fry donuts; operate ovens as needed.
• Assist in production as directed by bakers.
• Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed.
• Set up products for the following day.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
