Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer is seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk to join our team. Casual position with less than 24 hours per week, weekdays and weekends across mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Youth-friendly under the Alberta Youth Incentive Program.

Responsibilities include customer service, bakery packing, slicing, labeling, and assisting bakers. Training available; physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be 14+ with permit where required.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; heavy lifting required.
• Prior bakery experience is an asset; training available.
• Applicants must be over 14 years old; disclosure required.

We are participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15-24.

Position: Bakery Clerk

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability:Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Package and label bakery products for sale
• Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens
• Assist in production as directed by bakers
• Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed
• Assist in setting up products for the following day
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

• Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available
