Job summary

South Country Co-op is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to join the Taber Food Store team in Taber, Alberta. You will support daily bakery operations, assist customers, and help with bagging, slicing bread, and light cleaning.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work between 4am and 10pm as needed, including weekends. Training and growth opportunities are provided within a cooperative environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in multi-generational teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to bakery customers and assist with bagging and slicing bread.
• Maintain good housekeeping and light cleaning in the bakery area.
• Assist with decorating products as needed.
