Job summary

Freson Market Ltd/Freson Bros. in Sundre, AB is hiring a Full-Time Baker Apprentice with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. This role offers hands-on bakery training, early morning shifts, and weekends/holidays as needed.

You will measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and bake bread, operate mixers, rack ovens, proofer and slicer, and help maintain safety and cleanliness while delivering great customer service in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or food prep is an asset.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Warm and welcoming personality with strong communication.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for a Full-Time Baker Apprentice position with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 at our location in Sundre, AB.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and score bread
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products
• Operate bakery equipment (i.e. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
• Adhere to quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Handle customer customer service inquiries and provide an exceptional customer experience

• Experience in a bakery or food preparation setting is an asset
