Freson Market Ltd. is hiring a full-time Baker for our Hanna, AB location. The role involves measuring, mixing, kneading, shaping and scoring dough, and baking traditional bakery products with careful attention to quality and safety.

We are hiring for a Full-Time Baker with a wage range of $17.00 - $23.00 at our location in Hanna, AB.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Measure, mix, scale, knead, hand-shape, and score bread
• Bake traditional bread and bakery products
• Operate bakery equipment (i.e. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
• Adhere to quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Handle customer customer service inquiries and provide an exceptional customer experience

What you Bring:

• Knowledge of the basic principles of bakery preparation, various baking methods, and food safety regulations
• Experience with pre-ferments, levain, poolish, sponge
• Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to thrive and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
