Job summary

Todd Brothers Contracting Limited in Ontario is seeking experienced AZ or DZ Snow Plow Operators to support snow removal operations. You will drive a heavy truck with a snow plow to clear local roads in winter conditions, delivering safe, timely service to clients.

Ideal candidates have AZ/DZ license, clean CVOR-D, and at least two years in winter maintenance; must be able to respond to call-ins within one hour and work evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as events require.

Qualifications

• DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR-D required.
• 2 years experience in winter-maintenance operations.
• Ability to respond to call-ins within one hour.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Good understanding of MTO standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of spreader and plow wing to remove snow on local roads per contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation to complete the necessary paperwork.
• Maintain/clean equipment and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as required.
• Understand route map and sand/salt applications; meet call-in requirements during winter storms.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position Overview

We are currently hiring experienced AZ or DZ Snow Plow Operators to assist with our snow removal operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a heavy truck equipped with a snow plow attachment to clear roads. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

• Safe and efficient operation of spreader, plow wing, to perform snow removal on local roads as per the contract requirements,
• Maintain accurate documentation to complete the necessary paperwork,
• Maintain/clean equipment and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as required,
• Familiar with performance requirements; understand route map and sand/salt applications,
• Meet call in requirements during a winter storm event,
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• DZ or AZ license with a clean drivers abstract, and CVOR-D required,
