Job summary

Todd BrothersContracting Limited is hiring experienced AZ or DZ Snow Plow Operators to assist with our snow removal operations. You will operate a heavy truck with a snow plow attachment to clear roads and support our winter maintenance program.

Qualifications include AZ/DZ license with clean driving record and CVOR-D, 2 years winter-maintenance experience, ability to respond to call-ins within one hour, and willingness to work extended hours in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow and spreader on local roads per contract.

• Maintain/clean equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Be familiar with route maps and sand/salt applications.
• Respond to call-ins during winter storms.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position Overview:

We are currentlyhiring experienced AZ or DZ Snow Plow Operators to assist with our snow removaloperations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operatinga heavy truck equipped with a snow plow attachment to clear roads. The idealcandidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and acommitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation ofspreader, plow wing, to perform snow removal on local roads as per thecontract requirements,
• Maintain accurate documentationto complete the necessary paperwork,
• Maintain/clean equipment andconduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as required,
• Familiar with performancerequirements; understand route map and sand/salt applications,
• Meet call in requirements duringa winter storm event,
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• DZ or AZ license with a cleandrivers abstract, and CVOR-D required,
• 2 years previous experience inwinter-maintenance operations,
• Available to respond to call-inswithin one hour,
• Ability to work assigned shifts,and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winterevents require,
• Mechanical knowledge, ability toperform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment considered anasset,
• Good understanding of MTOstandards,
• Ability to communicateeffectively (written and verbal),
• Willingness to work in extremeweather conditions.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage of $40.00CAD per hour.
• $4500.00 CAD standby rate.
