Job Summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is hiring for winter and seasonal road maintenance positions on Ontario highways. Candidates should be team‑oriented with an AZ or DZ licence.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist Foreperson with daily tasks including safety toolbox meetings, equipment inspection, and road condition inspection reports.
• Support Foreperson in planning of work to meet contractual milestones.
• Monitor quality of work performed by the crew.
• Operate equipment on work sites as needed.
• Help ensure health, safety, and environment related concerns are addressed promptly.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform demanding tasks.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Provide a copy of a3‑year driver’s abstract.
• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset.

Work Conditions

• Local applicants will be given preference.
• Shift work, on‑call, and night shift required.
• Schedules: either 5 consecutive days followed by 2 days off or 6 consecutive days followed by 1 day off; daily shifts 8‑12hrs.

Compensation

Base pay range $23.45–$33.50 per hour, determined by experience, skills, and location. Benefits will be provided by CLAC.
