Job summary

Triple M Metal is seeking an AZ Driver to operate roll-off and lugger trucks at our Kitchener, ON location. Starting wage is CAD 29.22/hour with a day shift (Mon-Fri, 7am–4pm) and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• AZ License with Air Brake Endorsement is required.
• CVOR and driving record with minimal demerit points preferred.
• Two years of Roll-off Truck driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) tractor, roll-off and lugger trucks as assigned.
• Transport materials using efficient routes and maintain safety and cargo security.
• Complete driver logs and pre/post-trip inspections accurately.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of AZ Driver The position will be stationed at our 61 Balzer Ave, Kitchener, ON. This position will be responsible for transporting goods to and from assigned locations while adhering to time schedules in a timely manner, while operating assigned Roll-off or Lugger trucks in a safe, efficient and effective manner while adhering to the rules and regulations of the road. Starting Wage:

• $29.22

Day Shift:

• Monday to Friday: 7am - 4:00 pm (Overtime as required). Weekends as required.

What we expect you to do:

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-Off and Lugger Truck);
• Transport materials utilizing most efficient routs;
• Ensure safety and security of cargo;
• Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers;
• Accurate completion of driver logbook;
• Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
• Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

You have:

• Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP’s Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.
• Valid AZ License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
• Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with minimal demerit points and/or reported incidents;
• Experience with 13,and/or 18 speed manual transmission
• Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.
• Two years of Roll-off Truck Driving experience preferred
