Job summary

Fountain Tire St. Albert is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You’ll diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, and complete required maintenance with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

You will get to:

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

What does it take to get on track?

• Must be fully licensed in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
