Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in engine repair, electrical systems, and diagnostics to ensure high-quality service and maintenance of vehicles. You will work closely with supervisors to discuss tasks, review work orders, and perform scheduled maintenance. The position requires a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification. Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive service and repair.
  • Certification as an Automotive Service Technician is required.

Responsibilities

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Review work orders
  • Road test motor vehicles
  • Test automotive systems and components
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Credentials
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
