Job summary

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a personable Service Advisor for the Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey location. You will be the welcoming face of the Service Department, greeting customers, documenting concerns, and coordinating between customers, parts, and technicians.

Role requires strong customer-service skills, data-entry accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop. Competitive compensation and benefits offered in Surrey, BC.

Qualifications

• Valid BC driver’s license or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Service Advisor preferred; DealerMine/CDK One-Eighty experience is a plus.
• Customer-facing experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) desired.
• Strong customer-service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Excellent data-entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a busy shop environment.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Greet Service customers and understand their needs.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Document vehicle concerns on Repair Orders and suggest repairs as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate quotes and obtain customer approvals.
• Act as liaison between customer, parts department, and technicians.
• Keep customers informed about status and recommended additional work.
• Manage customer concerns respectfully and escalate when needed.
• Conduct vehicle inspection walk-arounds before/after service.
