Job summary

Mississauga Volkswagen, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join the Team in Mississauga. Base salary is $35,000 plus bonus; total compensation can vary from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, dependent on experience.

The role involves selling vehicle maintenance, liaising with technicians, explaining costs, scheduling appointments, and preparing repair orders. We offer benefits, tools, training, and career advancement within the group.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
• proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
• ability to sell vehicle maintenance
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
• serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
• explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
• advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
• schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
• accurately prepare repair orders and invoices
