Job summary

Maple Volkswagen, part of the Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Internal Advisor/Dispatcher. This role focuses on frontline customer communications, coordinating repair work, and ensuring smooth service operations.

You will sell maintenance services, liaise with technicians, process warranty claims, schedule appointments, and prepare repair orders. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in service/advisor roles, ERP/CRM proficiency, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (CDK/Reynolds) and CRM systems.
• Ability to sell vehicle maintenance and explain maintenance needs and costs.

Responsibilities

• Sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance.
• Serve as liaison between the customer and automotive service technician.
• Prepare, process, record and reconcile warranty claims.
• Match jobs to the appropriate technician.
• Track technician efficiency and productivity.
• Explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs.
• Advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and maintenance importance.
• Schedule appointments; contact customers with status updates.
• Accurately prepare repair orders and invoices.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to provide frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically:

• sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
• serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
• prepare, process, record and reconcile warranty quick claims
• matching jobs to the appropriate technician
• tracks technician efficiency and productivity
• explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
• advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
• schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
• accurately prepare repair orders and invoices

About you….

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including:

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
• proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
• ability to sell vehicle maintenance
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
