Job summary

KB1 Group Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support plant control systems day-to-day, focusing on DCS environments.

The role involves troubleshooting, configuring Honeywell Experion TPS or Emerson DeltaV, developing and testing DCS logic, and supporting commissioning, maintenance, and MOC activities.

You will work independently with cross-disciplinary teams to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS.
• Experience working in an operating industrial plant environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
