Job summary

DCM is seeking Instrumentation Technicians for Fort McMurray, Alberta, to install, maintain and troubleshoot automated control systems on a 7/7 rotation. Ideal candidates hold Red Seal or Journeyman certificates and have experience with process instrumentation and analyzers.

Strong safety focus and ability to work in a remote camp environment are essential. Benefits include charter flights from Edmonton or Calgary to site, camp accommodations, and full-time employment in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or Journeyman certificate required.
• Electrical technology training at college level with industrial experience.
• Experience in control and automation systems process instrumentation (PLC, operator interfaces, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, etc.).
• Analyzer experience required.
• Safety tickets: H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, Confined Space, ESTS, and First Aid with CPR.
• One of CSO, BSO, or CSTS-09.
• Ability to lift and carry objects; meet site access requirements.

These professionals will work on a 7/7 rotation, supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated and control systems in an industrial setting. The ideal candidates are Red Seal or Journeyman certified, safety-focused, and experienced with process instrumentation and analyzers. What You’ll Need

• Valid Red Seal or Journeyman Certificate (recognized in Alberta)
• Minimum training in electrical technology, ideally at college level, with industrial experience
• Experience in control and automation systems process instrumentation (PLC, operator interfaces, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, etc.)
• Analyzer experience required
