Job summary

KB1 Group Inc. is seeking an on-site intermediate role in Fort McMurray, Alberta, to provide day-to-day operational support, maintenance, and system migration for Honeywell DCS systems.

The position is local (no FIFO) and involves working Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. The candidate will manage routine DCS operations, support migration projects, coordinate during plant start-ups and shutdowns, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime while adhering to site

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with the Honeywell DCS system.
• Experience handling DCS migrations and daily system maintenance.
• Able to work independently in a heavy industrial/oil & gas environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day DCS operational support, system health, and troubleshoot.
• Support DCS migration projects, logic updates, and graphic modifications.
• Coordinate technical activities during plant start-ups, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
• Work directly with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance and migration work complies with site safety procedures.

Key Requirements
