Job summary

Allstate Canada Group is seeking a Claim Advisor, Auto in Alberta to support customers through the claims process. You will review policies, investigate complex auto claims, determine coverage and liability, and settle claims in line with company policies.

The role requires strong customer service experience and knowledge of policy interpretation. A CIP designation is a bonus, and fluency in additional languages is an asset. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Auto adjuster experience preferred.
• Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance policy and coverages.
• Investigate complex automobile claims and determine coverage and liability.
• Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
• Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
