Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Canada seeks an Assisted Living Manager to lead a compassionate care team focused on residents’ well-being. You’ll oversee clinical care, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration to deliver holistic, person-centered services.

Ideal candidates have two years of clinical experience (geriatrics preferred), RN/RPN licensure in good standing, and strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• RN or RPN license in good standing with the College of Nurses.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience in a healthcare setting, geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Act as primary contact for residents and families, addressing inquiries and involving them in care decisions.
• Supervise, schedule, and support care staff through training and coaching.
• Uphold policies and regulatory standards, ensuring safe medication practices and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with managers across departments to deliver holistic resident care.
• Support budgeting, staffing, and purchasing to maintain operational efficiency.
