Job summary

Le Creuset in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a permanent, full-time, onsite position. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations and lead a team of six sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service and achievement of sales targets.

You will participate in recruitment, training, and development, manage store merchandise, layout, and inventory, and help deliver a premium shopping experience that reflects Le Creuset's heritage and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of training and experience supporting store management or a similar retail role.
• Knowledge of sales techniques and understanding of retail KPIs.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and store opening/closing processes.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in supervising the sales team and ensuring customer service standards.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and developing staff, while driving sales targets.
• Manage cash transactions, returns, exchanges, and gift cards with accuracy.
• Oversee daily store operations, inventory, restocking, and merchandising.
• Assist in scheduling and peak period coverage; participate in semi-annual inventory counts.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and upholds Le Creuset standards.
