Job summary

Performance Inc in Canada is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running daily store operations, leading the team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences as we open our new location at the Toronto Premium Outlets.

You will drive service quality, manage scheduling, inventory, and merchandising while coaching staff and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role offers growth, a collaborative team, and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Maintains a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive store experience.
• Understands inventory and ensures the right products are in stock at the right time.
• Understands store financial performance and identifies opportunities to improve profitability.
• Communicates effectively with the Store Manager, staff and customers, fostering collaboration.
• Familiar with company policies and ensures compliant store operations.
• Ability to coach and develop retail leads and sales assistants.

Responsibilities

• Promote and monitor quality service through training and by acting as a positive role model on the shop floor.
• Supervise and lead store staff, including scheduling, training, development and coaching.
• Ensure the store is operating efficiently and meeting sales goals.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including visual merchandising displays.
